ExAct FD-20 Flame detector now ATEX approved

The ExAct FD-20 Flame detector designed by Mikro-Pulssi Oy is now ATEX approved. The approval was issued by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.

The method of explosion protection used in the FD-20 flame detector is intrinsic safety. The ATEX approved detector can be installed in potentially explosive environments including zone 0. The device complies with the category:

ExAct trademark registered in the European Union

The Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) has registered the ExAct trademark for Mikro-Pulssi Oy. The registration is valid in all member states of the European Union and gives Mikro-Pulssi Oy exclusive rights to use the trademark in selected trademark classes.

Mikro-Pulssi Oy launches ExAct trademark at Security 2006 trade fairs

With ExAct, the traditional logo of Mikro-Pulssi Oy is replaced and the new ExAct-logo will be taken into use for the new products of the company. The new ExAct trademark describes the company’s commitment to exact fire detection and extinguishing, as well as the competence and know-how of the company in ATEX-solutions. The first products sold under the name ExAct are the ExAct FP-200 fire protection control panel, ExAct FD-20 flame detector and the new ExAct Detect fire alarm products. Security 2006 Trade fairs at Pirkkahalli, Tampere 5.-7.9. 2006

The co-operation between Mikro-Pulssi Oy and Detectomat GmbH fulfils Mikro-Pulssi’s product category in fire detection products

Mikro-Pulssi Oy has made co-operation agreement with German Detectomat GmbH. The agreement makes Mikro-Pulssi Oy an official distributor of Detectomat’s fire detection products at Finnish markets. This co-operation expands Mikro-Pulssi’s product range and now we are able to offer our customers complete range of fire protection products and systems. The addressable Detectomat fire alarm control panels can be used together with both Detectomat’s and Apollo’s addressable fire detectors. ExAct FD-20: New flame detector is launched at Security 2006 trade fairs

Mikro-Pulssi Oy responds to the demand of the customers and launches a new flame detector that can also be installed in ATEX-applications. The fastest version of ExAct FD-20 flame detector detects fire reliably as few as 5 ms. The detector has been designed according to ATEX EEx ia IIC T4-class requirements.
